    Ingredients you need for Sriracha Popcorn

    Popcorn kernels - Popcorn kernels are the hard, unpopped seeds of the maize plant, which is known for its ability to pop when heated. For best results, use fresh, high-quality popcorn kernels

    Melted butter - Preferably use salted butter as it will add flavor.

    Sriracha sauce - Sriracha sauce is a popular spicy condiment made from chili peppers, vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt. Originally from Thailand, it has gained worldwide popularity for its bold, tangy, and slightly sweet heat. This is the Sriracha I use.

    Pinch of salt - If you are using salted butter, you can skip the extra salt.

    For extra flavor, you can add smoked paprika and also some hot honey.

    How to Make Spicy Sriracha Popcorn

    Pop the Popcorn

    1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
    2. Add the popcorn kernels, cover with a lid, and shake the pot occasionally.
    3. Once the popping slows down, remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl.

    Prepare the Sriracha Butter Sauce

    1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
    2. Stir in the sriracha sauce, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and hot honey (if using).
    3. Mix well until the sauce is fully combined.

    Coat the Popcorn

    1. Drizzle the spicy sriracha butter sauce over the popcorn.
    2. Toss well to evenly coat the popcorn with the bold flavors.
