    What are Cheese Crisps ?

Cheese Crisps are a very popular healthy snack that you must have seen a lot in several stores. It is so easy to make and once you make it at home, you will stop buying from stores.

It takes less than 15 minutes to prepare these delicious savory treat.

These cheese crisps are baked, doesn't have any carb and yet tastes like fried chips. When baked at the right temperature, it snaps perfectly and turns out so crunchy.

    Ingredients you need

Technically, this can be just one ingredient snack. You can pick just one cheese and make crisps with that. Or you can mix up like I did here with cheddar and Parmesan cheese.

Along with the cheese, I added everything bagel seasoning. It is my son's fav and mine too! We love it on our morning eggs, toast and now on cheese.

How to prepare the Cheese Crisps

Grate both the cheese in equal quantity. Then place both in a bowl.

Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning and mix again.

Place 1 tablespoon portion in baking sheet. Make sure to keep distance as the cheese would melt and spread.

Once baked, leave it to cool down for a while. It would release easily from the parchment paper or baking silpats.

Once cooled, store in air tight jar.

    FEW KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER

If you are using a cheese block, then keep the cheese block at room temperature for a few hours. It will be easy to grate.

When you are placing the tablespoon grated cheese on the baking sheet, make sure to flatten the cheese, so it bakes evenly.

It took me 9 minutes to get the texture perfectly crispy that would snap easily. But I would highly recommend doing a trial for 7 or 8 minutes with a small batch, so you know the exact time that would need.

If these are not crispy enough, bake it for 1 or 2 more minutes.
