A good syrup comes handy on days when you want to boost your cocktail/mocktail game. It is great to even use on just a glass of water to add that subtle flavor and mild sweetness to stay hydrated. Rosemary Honey Simple Syrup has become my favorite syrup to stock up. The sweetness from honey and that woodsy aromatic flavor of rosemary can uplift any drink effortlessly.

    Rosemary Honey Simple Syrup

Rosemary Honey Simple Syrup is an easy-to-make syrup that barely takes any effort.

All you need is fresh rosemary, good quality honey and water.

To prepare the rosemary honey simple syrup, you’ll need an equal part of water with honey. To that, you add several sprigs of fresh rosemary. Let it simmer slowly for about 15 minutes and then let it cool down completely.

The syrup tastes even better the next day once the flavor blends beautifully!

    Rosemary Honey Syrup

Thanks to the beautiful California sunshine, my rosemary plant is growing beautifully. And we are currently using it in everywhere I can. The syrup is happening a lot of, making our weekend cocktail really tasty.

You make anything with herb infused simple syrup, and it is destined for greatness!

Ingredients for Rosemary Honey Simple Syrup

    • Fresh rosemary
    • Good quality honey
    • Water

As you prepare the syrup, your entire house starts to smell so nice, with the robust flavor of rosemary.

Can you substitute honey with sugar?

Yes, you can. But honey adds a gorgeous color and floral sweetness that you will not get from sugar. Also, honey is a great immune booster.

So I will highly recommend you to use Honey.

    Where to use the syrup

I can think of endless way to use this syrup!

    • Add in your fruit salad dressing for the flavor boost and mild sweetness.
    • Definitely cocktails - works great with bourbon, gin, rum, vodka!
    • Drizzle on your pound cake
    • Add on your pancake or waffles
    • When you get bored with drinking plain water, just add a spoonful for that beautiful taste.
    • You can add in your lemonade, ice tea or cold coffee too.

The syrup stores for several weeks in the refrigerator, stored in a clean airtight jar.

I think it makes a pretty edible gift too! Your friend will love it.

I will share some cocktails soon that I tried using this delicious syrup.
