    Chicken - You can use chicken breast or chicken thigh. I prefer thigh as it stays juicy ass compare to chicken breast.

    Garlic - You will need a lot of garlic cloves. I grate some to use in the chicken marinade, and the rest I use while preparing the dish.

    Dried Oregano - This is not a mandate and can be skipped. Or you can use your choice of dried herbs.

    Butter - The richness of this simple dish comes from cooking in butter.

    Corn flour - You will need just a couple spoons of corn flour or all-purpose flour to prepare the garlic butter sauce.

    Cilantro leaves or Parsley - Finally, to garnish at the end, you can use either cilantro leaves or parsley.

    Steps to prepare

    1- Slice the chicken thigh into bite size and place in a mixing bowl.

    2- Marinate the chicken bites with lots of grated garlic, salt, pepper and dried oregano. Leave it overnight or at least for a few hours.

    3- When ready to prepare the dish, heat a pan and add the butter along with oil.

    4- Fry the chicken bites to sear on both the sides. Take it off the pan with done.

    5- To the same pan, now add more butter and garlic. Sauté for a few seconds.

    6- Add a little bit of corn flour or all-purpose flour and stir it around. Add water and mix it around to make a thick sauce.

    7- Add the partially fried chicken bites and toss it around to coat the sauce to the chicken bites.

    8- Finally, garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro leaves.

    Ingredients
     

    • 4 Boneless chicken thigh
    • 7 Garlic cloves
    • 3 tablespoon Butter
    • 1 tablespoon Oil
    • 1 Tbsp Dried Oregano
    • 1 tablespoon Corn flour or All purpose flour
    • 1.5 teaspoon Salt

    Instructions
     

    • Slice the chicken thigh into bite size and put it in a mixing bowl.
    • To that, you add 4 grated garlic, salt and the oregano. Mix it around and let the chicken marinate for a few hours or overnight for best flavor.
    • When you are ready to cook, heat a heavy bottom pan. Add 1 tablespoon butter and oil. Once it heats up, scatter the chicken pieces and let it sear on both the side.
      Then take it off the pan.
    • To the same pan, add the rest of the butter and rest of the garlic (sliced or grated). Stir it around to cook the garlic for 1 minute.
    • Add the flour and stir it around to cook the flour. Then pour water and whisk to make a thick sauce.
    • Add the fried chicken back to the pan and stir it around to coat the sauce to the chicken bites.
    • Serve the chicken bites warm, garnished with chopped cilantro leaves or parsley leaves.
