I can’t thank you guys enough for taking your time out and responding to my thought, helping me clear my doubts and make a decision. It was not easy. Believe me. The past couple of days, I read and re-read your comments and emails, not knowing what to do. I decided to stay away from technology for a while. I read a book, shinned my toaster, vacuumed twice, baked a pizza and tried two new recipes. All these helped me clear my head and then it hit me.
I don’t have sunny days all the time and neither do I smile all the time. I still haven’t figured out if I like dark moody shots or bright white lights ones, but there is one thing that is constant irrespective of how grumpy I am or how gloomy the day is. I love cooking; I love playing in my kitchen.
With that note, I decided to call my tiny space ‘Playful Cooking’. Phew!! This feels good.
The name is simple, easy to pronounce, easy to spell and it’s me. I wanted that! Sorry if I disappointed some of you with the name change but I hope that my work and my photography would continue bringing the smile on your face even if the name doesn’t.
It will take a while for the change to happen but I am working on it fast. As you can see I am not very good with letting things hang on my head. And thank you once again so much for being there. No matter how many times I say this, it’s not enough. Thank You!

Kankana, good for you for changing your name to what feels right. Like you, I started my blog on a whim, picked a random name, and didn't know it would become such a huge passion for me.
It's good to remember we started these blogs because we wanted to - they are our spaces and we get to make whatever decisions we want. And you did just that. I'll be there when you make the switch. I love what you do.

Kankana..do you remember the last time you would have actually "played" like run around and get dirty, dig your fingers deep in sand, not bother about ruining the clothes or your time table...thats what play does..it lets you be..what better name could you think of..look forward to some more awesome stuff as always
