Ginger and turmeric cubes is one of the easiest and most effective ways to boost your immunity naturally. Include it as part of your daily routine. All it needs is just three ingredients, and you can sip immune boosting tea every day.

    Turmeric Ginger Cubes

In today’s fast-paced world, maintaining a strong immune system is more important than ever. These cubes are packed with powerful antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and essential nutrients that can help keep illnesses at bay.

Let’s dive into why these golden cubes are a must-have for your health and how you can easily make them at home.

The Benefits of Ginger and Turmeric Cubes

    Turmeric: The Golden Healer

Turmeric is widely known for its active compound, curcumin, which is celebrated for its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to:

    • Reduce inflammation
    • Strengthen the immune system
    • Support digestion
    • Improve skin health
    • Enhance brain function

    Ginger: The Immunity Booster

Ginger, another powerhouse ingredient, is packed with bioactive compounds like gingerol that provide numerous health benefits, such as:

    • Fighting infections and flu symptoms
    • Aiding digestion and relieving nausea
    • Reducing muscle pain and soreness
    • Lowering blood sugar levels
    • Supporting cardiovascular health

Creating your own turmeric and ginger cubes at home is simple, cost-effective, and allows you to control the quality of the ingredients.

Ingredients for Ginger and Turmeric Cubes:

Fresh ginger roots - Get good quality organic ginger roots. Avoid getting the very giant looking ones as those are high in water content as compared to fiber.

Fresh turmeric roots - I prefer to use fresh turmeric roots instead of turmeric powder, but if you can't find turmeric roots, then definitely go ahead and use the powder.

Fresh turmeric is generally considered better than turmeric powder because it retains more of its natural oils and bioactive compounds, including curcumin.

Orange or Lemon juice - Instead of blending with water, use any variety of citrus juice. Citrus juice is great for us because it is packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and essential minerals that help boost the immune system, improve skin health, and enhance digestion.

    Steps to prepare

    Steps to prepare

1- Wash the ginger roots and turmeric roots very nicely and then roughly chop.

2- Slice the orange or lemon in half and squeeze the juice.

3- To a high speed blender, add the chopped roots along with the orange juice or lemon juice. Blend to a smooth consistency. You can add a little water if needed.

4- Strain the blended turmeric and ginger and then strain the juice out.

    Steps to prepare

5- Pour the juice to ice cubes. I find silicon molds are best as it is easy to take the cubes out. Once the cubes freeze, take it out of the mold and store in a zip pouch.

6- When you are ready to make the immune boosting tea, add a cube to the cup and drizzle a little honey on top.

7- Pour hot water, stir and enjoy!

How to Use Turmeric and Ginger Cubes

These cubes are incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of ways:

    • Morning Detox Drink: Drop a cube into a glass of warm water and sip on an empty stomach.
    • Tea or Latte: Add a cube to hot water or milk for a warming turmeric-ginger tea or golden milk.
    • Smoothies: Blend a cube into your favorite smoothie for an immune-boosting kick.
    • Soups and Broths: Dissolve a cube in soups or broths for extra flavor and health benefits.
