Vitamin C enriched fresh strawberry with yogurt, which is the best source of probiotic, make this strawberry lassi and immune boosting drink! It tasty, looks pretty and so easy that even a kid can make it.
Lassi is a very popular yogurt-based drink in India which is served in regular cafes, rode side stalls and of course at home all summer round. There are several different ways you can serve Lassi. Strawberry lassi is just one such flavor choice that kids love a lot, probably because of the color.
I personally love Delhi street side lassi that is foamy and topped with a thick layer of “malai (milk skin)” or this fruit lassi. In out last grocery shopping, we got lucky to find a box of strawberries and that very sunny afternoon we made this sweet strawberry lassi.
Ingredients for Strawberry Lassi:
- Plain thick yogurt
- Fresh strawberries
- Sugar/honey
- Green cardamoms
- Pinch of salt
Steps:
- Roughly cut the strawberries.
- Put it in the blender with yogurt, sugar and few green cardamom.
- Blend until smooth
- Enjoy right away
If you keep the lassi if the refrigerator, you will notice a little amount of water will settle at the bottom of the bottle or glass. It’s normal. Just mix it around with a spoon and enjoy it cold.
Learn about the goodness of Strawberry
In our current situation of dealing with Coronavirus, we are all struggling a little bit finding a balance between work from home, school from home and putting up a meal together. And if you have a little one without a sibling, chances are you have almost no ‘me’ time.
As I was working for a client to put up a content for my Instagram stories, I involved Avyan to make this strawberry lassi. He loved the idea of taking complete control and I had to capture the actions.
It was a great day to sit outside, so had a good time soaking up some vitamin D and enjoying this immune boosting Strawberry Lassi.

I could compare those glasses filled with gold as berry which you use in the ingredients are so expensive in Bali, its no way i could make it at home 🙁 , Btw, you have captured such beautiful photos kan
Kankana Saxena
yeah berries are way too expensive even in India. Most importantly, we used to hardly find any. I guess that is one the reason why I am crazy over berries now 🙂
Naomi
