This Cranberry Gin FIzz Cocktail is a perfect festive drink to cheer the Holiday spirit. It's made with homemade cranberry orange syrup along with lemon juice, few drops of bitter and finally something fizzy for that sparkling taste. If you don't drink alcohol, you can skip the gin and make it a delicious Cranberry Lemon Fizz Mocktail.
Cranberry Gin Fizz Cocktail
ThisCranberry Gin Cocktail is my way to finish the leftover syrup I had after making the sugared cranberries. I love fizzy cocktail, especially during festive season and instead of making it just Lemon Gin Fizz, the cranberry syrup makes it so bright and colorful.
The citrus scent with the pine like taste of Gin goes so well with the sweet and tart Cranberry Syrup. I did add a bit of lemon juice and then ended with the citrus fizz.
As for the garnish, the sugared cranberries were the perfect touch. But you can use few slices of orange instead.

Cranberry Syrup
The cranberry syrup is the leftover syrup I had after making the sugared cranberries. I thickened the syrup a bit more by simmering it for a while.
This cranberry syrup is so good that you can use it in several ways. It's so good on breakfast oatmeal, pancakes, waffles and on other desserts too.
This Cranberry Gin Fizz Cocktail is my first cocktail recipe in my blog. As much as I love cocktail and make it occasionally, I do get a little lazy to photoshoot.
But this holiday season I want to change that and definitely want to share more cocktails.

Ingredients needed for thisCranberry Gin Fizz Cocktail
- Gin
- Homemade Cranberry Syrup (thicken the leftover syrup from this recipe)
- Lemon Juice
- Fizz - I used Fever-Tree Sparkling Grapefruit
- Few drops of cocktail bitters
- Sugared Cranberries for Garnish.
The cocktail is super easy to make, and you don't need any shaker either. Just pour the ingredients with some ice, stir and enjoy.

Is there egg white in this Gin Fizz Cocktail?
There are no egg whites added in this cocktail. For classic Gin Fizz drink, egg whites are used, and the drink is shaken and not stir. The egg white softens the sour taste of the drink.
Since I used cranberry syrup, which had a good balance of sweet and sour, I decided to skip the egg whites.
If you choose to use the egg whites, then make sure to use a shaker to mix the drink instead of stirring.
The Cranberry Gin Fizz Cocktail is perfect for people like me who likes to make simple, uncomplicated cocktails. Great for beginners as it needs no special cocktail tools either.
Make this delicious Gin Cocktail and start your Holidays in a sparkling mood.
Cheers!
