Black And White Wednesday - 28th September 2011

September 28, 2011 by Kankana Saxena

“No one who cooks, cooks alone. Even at her most solitary, a cook in the kitchen is surrounded by generations of cooks past, the advice and menus of cooks present, the wisdom of cookbook writers.”

    ― Laurie Colwin

I'm taking my time checking your old posts. I actually never took black and white photos or turn color photos into black and white but what powerful shots! These ordinary objects turned to extra-ordinary images is awesome.

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. I accidentally deleted your comment. I'm so sad. You are so kind.

Laurie Colwin writings about food are spot-on. The quote you've chosen is both worldly and wise.
I'm always intrigued by the black-and-white images. flatware one is fabulous.

Stunners, all of them, Kankana. I think, though, I'll pick the baking shot, but only if I can have a sip of the wine, too. ; ) Thanks again for sharing your photos for BWW.
