Orange Tofu

Orange Tofu is a crispy, zesty, better-than-takeout plant-based favorite! Ingredients
 

  • 1 Block Firm Tofu
  • 1 Bunch Green onion
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Tofu Marinade

  • 1.5 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tsp Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Ponzu sauce (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour

Orange Sauce

  • Zest of 2 or 3 oranges
  • Juice of the orange
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 Tsp Ponzu Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 2 tablespoon water

Instructions
 

  • Cut the firm pressed tofu into bite size. Add it to a mixing bowl.
  • To the bowl add all the ingredients for the marinate and shake to mix everything.
  • Layer the marinated tofu and air fry for 20 minutes, flipping once in between.
  • While that happens, prepare the sauce by mixing the ingredients for the sauce to a glass or cup.
  • Heat the pan and once pour the oil and then add the chopped garlic along with chopped green onion. Toss it around and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the prepared sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the air fried tofu and toss it all together. Taste for salt and sweetness and adjust sesaoning accordingly.
  • Serve with your choice of options.
