Muskmelon Thyme Sorbet

Ingredients
 

  • 4 cups frozen muskmelon cubes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup water (you might need more)

Instructions
 

  • Add everything in a blender and blend it to a smoothie like consistency. If it doesn’t blend easily, add a little water.
  • You could use an ice cream machine to churn the melon puree or just pour it in a container and keep it in the freezer to set.

Notes

Depending on the sweetness of the muskmelon, you might need to add more or less honey. Taste it as you blend. Keep it in mind that it should taste a bit sweeter than you would like because as it sets and freezes, the sweetness mellows down.
