Ingredients

  • Mango Puree (I used a store bought 30 oz can)
  • Sugar (add as per your taste, if you are using fresh mango pulp)

Instructions

  • Blend the mango pulp with sugar (if using)
  • Preheat the oven to 200 F
  • Layer a cookie sheet with parchment paper or baking silpat.
  • Spread the puree evenly into a thin layer.
  • Place it in the oven and let it set and doesn't feel wet when touched on top. It can take from 4 hrs to 5 hrs. Keep in mind that depending on thin you layered the mango puree and the liquid consistency of the puree, it will take more or less time to prepare the fruit leather.
  • Let it cool a little bit and then the sheet should peel off easy.
  • Slice into 1 inch thick and then roll. You could also slice into bite size squares.
  • Store in an air tight container.

Notes

If you are using fresh fruit pulp, you might want to strain after blending so the texture is smooth without any fiber strands.
