Dates And Oats Pudding

Ingredients
 

  • 200 grams dates (seeds removed and roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (coarsely grinded)
  • 3 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon raisins

Instructions
 

  • In a pan, add ΒΌ cup of water and drop the chopped dates. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for 10 minutes or until the dates are softened. Then, blend it to a paste.
  • In a separate saucepan, pour cream, milk and honey. Bring it a boil. Then, add date paste and half of the coarse grinded mixed nuts. Give it a mix and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
  • Add rolled oats and give it a mix. This will thicken the consistency. Allow it to cook for 5 more minutes and finally sprinkle some of the raisins.
  • While serving, garnish with a sprinkle of coarsely grind nuts and raisins.
