Heirloom Tomato Toast

I love a good crusty toast at any time of the day! Heirloom Tomato Toast is the perfect summer toast, and I am making this on repeat. A simple toast that you can change as per your liking and enjoy all summer long.

- 5 slices of bread
- 1 large heirloom tomato
- Boursin Cheese to spread on the toast
- Oil from Tomato Garlic Confit or good quality EVOO
- Fresh basil leaves
- salt and pepper for seasoning
I used the air fryer to toast the bread. Rub a little oil on the bread slices and place in pre heated air fryer at 400F for 5 minutes.
Once done, spread Boursin cheese on the toasts and layer with sliced Heirloom Tomato.
Sprinkle salt and freshly cracked pepper on top.
Finely chop some basil leaves and scatter on the toast, and then finally drizzle more of the confit oil.
Enjoy the summer toast!
Make Crunchy Toast
There are three different ways you make prep the toast. All these steps will take just 5 minutes.
I prefer air fryer as it toasts evenly with the gorgeous crunch and is ready in 5 minutes.
You can use the stove top and toast it on a pan too with either butter or oil.
